Jewish Association Slovenia is a place where families and individuals can be involved in the rhythms of traditional Jewish life which includes the celebration of Jewish holidays, educational and cultural events, family gatherings and everyday acts of community. The Jewish presence in this country has been almost erased, making every religious gathering both an act of remembrance and a reaffirmation of continuity in the face of profound loss. To confirm this mission, the association establishes close contacts and friendly cooperation with all Jewish communities in Slovenia and its neighbouring countries, in the European Union and around the world. The lasting interest in cooperation and in the existence of Erez Israel compels us not to forget why the only state of the Jewish people was created.
We welcome those who seek a place of prayer, learning, Jewish culture and belonging in a traditional path. We do not question the conservative or orthodoxy of any Jew who wishes to join us in religious ceremonies with respect. We are open to religious cooperation and overall cooperation with any other Jewish association actualized in mutual respect.
Our events take place at various locations throughout Slovenia. With the exception of cultural events, all are held in private, intimate, and safe settings unknown to the public.

Celebration of Jewish holidays & Prayer
We provide holiday services that honor traditional religious values and foster the community's joy of togetherness. These events are hosted by Rabbi Ariel Hadadd.
Learning and Culture
We organize educational and cultural events across various locations in Slovenia to preserve and celebrate Jewish culture. These events especially highlight the enduring connection to the centuries-long presence of Jewish communities and their way of life in this country.
Community
We organize family-oriented events in safe and welcoming environments. With great care, these gatherings are enriched by Jewish music, games, and food, and often feature the guidance and energy from a Madrichim.
Antisemitism
We accept the IHRA's definition of antisemitism and actively draw attention to cases in our environment that align with the examples provided by this definition and commit to responding when antisemitism arises in our surroundings.
